Special Educational Needs Team
We are responsible for the delivery of the
Local Authority's (LA) statutory duties in
relation to the assessment, provision and
review of children with complex SEN.

with a range of people including parents,
professionals from education, social care and
health agencies to ensure that the individual
SEN of children are met within the context
of needing to be equitable and managing

and review processes, produce statements,
identify and commission appropriate

Access to support and advice about individual children from any of our teams in ISL is through a service request form with the exception of requests for statutory assessments of SEN which should go
through the established Hertfordshire processes.
The ISL teams will also attend Team Around The Family (TAFs) meetings when appropriate as part of the Common Assessment Framework and Early Support.
