HAPpy summer camps
Hertfordshire County Council is once again funding HAPpy activity camps for children and young people who attend a Hertfordshire school and are in receipt of benefits-related free school meals.
We would appreciate your help in promoting the HAPpy (Holiday Activity Programme) offering free activities and a nutritious meal to eligible children during the summer holiday. Could we please ask if you could promote the following in your newsletters, website and any social media channels.

Bookings for summer HAPpy Camps are now open!
HAPpy camps are running across Hertfordshire this summer, available from Monday 28 July – Friday 29 August.
Camps are for children and young people (Reception to Year 11) who attend a Hertfordshire school and are in receipt of benefits-related free school meals.
The programme, funded by Hertfordshire County Council and the Department of Education (DfE) via the government’s Holiday Activity and Food programme, is co-ordinated by Herts Sport and Activity Partnership and the Hertfordshire Community Foundation
Get your child’s booking code from the school office and book your free place.

HAPpy camps are back this summer
HAPpy activity camps are returning this summer, providing eligible children and young people with the chance to meet friends, learn new skills and enjoy nutritious food during the summer break.
The HAPpy programme is funded by Hertfordshire County Council and the Department of Education (DfE) via the government’s Holiday Activity and Food programme and coordinated by Herts Sport and Activity Partnership and the Hertfordshire Community Foundation.
Children and young people who are in school years Reception to Year 11, who attend a Hertfordshire school and are in receipt of benefits related free school meals can attend the HAPpy summer camps. Ask your school office if you haven’t already received your code and your child is eligible.
Every camp is inclusive and able to meet the needs of most children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), provided the right information is supplied with their booking. There are also a limited number of SEND-specific camps which are better for children with higher support needs.
