Fully funded Hertfordshire SENCO induction programme

We are pleased to announce the launch of the fully funded Hertfordshire Induction programme for SENCOs, created in partnership with HFL Education, Hertfordshire SEND Services, DSPL areas and Hertfordshire’s SEND Academy.  

Starting in September 2025, this essential course is designed to equip SENCOs to have the confidence, knowledge and skills to succeed in their role. With three tailored pathways, depending on experience, SENCOs will be provided with a range of tools, strategies and resources to fulfil their day-to day responsibilities whilst expanding their knowledge of local support.

You should register if you are a Hertfordshire SENCO:
1. New to role and at the start of their journey
2. New to Hertfordshire and bringing previous experience
3. New to a DSPL area with experience and knowledge of Hertfordshire

With a mix of online, self-directed and in person sessions this programme offers SENCOs in Hertfordshire a great start to their journey, whichever pathway they access.
