Faith and community visits directory
The latest and updated Sacre faith and community visits directory 2024 is available on the Herts Grid for Learning. This provides information from the main faiths and community groups that are open to visits from schools and/or may be able deliver assemblies or give talks to groups of pupils about their faith and beliefs.
SACRE autumn newsletter
The Sacre newsletter autumn 2024 has been published.
The newsletter provides information on the following and more:
- the national and regional RE Hubs
- the Framington Scholarships for teachers
- Interfaith Week
- Holocaust Memorial Day (27th January 2025)
- SACRE resources available on the Grid and the Artefact boxes that schools can borrow free of charge
- national developments including the publication of the RE Council of England Wales’ Worldviews toolkit to support schools
- dates of the SARETT network meetings for the academic year
Interfaith Week (10th-17th November) resources
NASACRE, in collaboration with the Faith and Belief Forum and working with colleagues in the RE and Inter faith communities, has brought together a suite of resources that schools can use to mark Inter Faith Week. The website for Interfaith Week provides resources to help schools develop suitable activities and materials to provide a stimulus for their pupils to explore how individuals and communities can live and work together to build a better future.
