Hertfordshire SEND Festival of Practice
The Quality Assurance Policy & Practice Team are facilitating a SEND Festival of Practice to be held between 8th to 11th October 2024. The theme of the event is “The Voice of the Child/Young Person”.
This festival is for HCC practitioners, and is also open to health services, schools, settings, and alternative provisions. The event is intended to act as a learning/celebratory showcase event that demonstrates the fantastic work being delivered across the SEND Partnership, with different impactful guest speakers and representatives from multiple agencies.
The festival will commence with an in-person launch event at the Hertfordshire Development Centre on Tuesday 8th October, tickets are limited and made available via EventBrite. Please ensure you only select the ticket type relating to your specific service to ensure there is an even ratio of representatives from each service at the event:

The rest of the week will feature various webinars and information sessions delivered virtually, you can expect to see the brochure with Microsoft Teams links begin to circulate in September.
This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow attendees, share experiences, and hear from a range of SEND professionals and directly from children and young people.
