Hertfordshire SEND Toolkit (7th edition) available now

Hertfordshire's SEND Toolkit has been updated for 2025-26 with much of the content refreshed to reflect Hertfordshire’s Ordinarily Available Provision guidance.

The free toolkit is an essential resource supporting schools and SENCOs to deliver high quality, inclusive SEN provision; packed with helpful information, useful tools and resources and links to a wide range of national and local guidance.

This year's highlights include:

• an updated SEND context poster reflecting 2025 data and, providing data for maintained nurseries, and maintained primary and secondary phases
• new resources to support the effective deployment of TAs
• information about the fully funded SEND training opportunities available in the local area
• links to every essential local authority SEND tool and template.

Feedback from schools shows that the SEND Toolkit is very well-used and making a difference. This 7th edition will continue to support all professionals working with learners with SEND to deliver great provision.
