Hertfordshire SEND Toolkit (8th edition) available now
Hertfordshire's SEND Toolkit has been updated for 2026-27 with refreshed guidance to support mainstream school leaders and SENCOs in the transition towards an education system that is ‘inclusive by design’.
This fully funded toolkit is an essential resource supporting mainstream schools to deliver high quality, inclusive SEN provision; packed with helpful information, useful tools and resources and links to a wide range of national and local guidance.
This year's highlights include:
- an updated SEND context poster reflecting 2026 national and local information relevant to maintained nurseries, primary and secondary schools.
- information about the changes underway as part of the government’s SEND reform programme including the inclusive mainstream fund and inclusion strategy.
- links to every essential local authority SEND tool and template.
