All schools, settings and childminders in Hertfordshire have been sent the resources and guidance that they require to complete the transition level of need tool 2025. If you have not received it, please email eytransition@hfleducation.org.

Submission dates:

• Friday 9th May 2025 – All childminders, settings and nursery classes to send information to schools
• Friday 6th June 2025 – All schools (nursery and reception classes) to submit their overviews to HFL Education

We have a fully funded Supporting smooth transitions - Train the trainer: Leading a parent/carer starting school induction session to support a smooth transition for children 2024/25 on 01/04/2025, 1:30pm-2:30pm – Online.

Don’t forget to book yourself on your district information sharing session. Please book your place via the HFL Education Hub.

We are very excited to announce there will be Transition Day 2025: Supporting Smooth Transition for children starting school that is fully funded on 01/07/2025, 9:15am-3:30pm, online. Please keep an eye out for further details!
