Your invitation to participate in the part-funded evaluation trial of the HFL KS3 Making Fluent and Flexible Calculators programme with the EEF

Last updated on 03 March 2025

If you're part of a state schools in England (whether maintained, MAT, SAT or free school) with low prior attaining Year 7 students in 2025 why not take part in an evaluation of the HFL Education Making Fluent and Flexible Calculators Programme (MFFC)?

This whole-class programme targets lower-attaining Year 7 students, offering them a critical early intervention designed to build their confidence and proficiency in maths. We have already run the programme for a number of years starting with KS2 students and then recognising the need for support into KS3. However, the recognition of the potential of the scheme by the EEF provides a fantastic opportunity for us to make a tangible difference to the outcomes of some of the most vulnerable learners on a national level.

Find out more and register your interest today by visiting the HFL Education website and if you have any questions, please contact us by emailing: fluentandflexible.eef@hfleducation.org

Places on the trial are limited so sign up as soon as possible! If you'd like more information sign up to attend our free information webinar on Monday, 24th March from 3:30 to 4pm ahead of registering your interest.
