Safe Staffing team

The Safe Staffing Team is part of the Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) Human Resource Operations Team.  HCC is licensed by the Home Office Disclosure and Barring Service to carry out DBS checks.  The Safe Staffing Team manages and maintains this on behalf of HCC, carrying out DBS checks for all HCC departments and maintained schools.  In addition we offer a traded service to external organisations including academies and Early Years settings/PVIs. We also offer a specialist annual Single Central Record (SCR) Service for 500 + Schools and Academies.
