Training and conferences

The HFL Education English advisers provide specialist training and consultancy services to help schools and academies improve the quality of their KS3-5 education. With strong links to schools, academies and other partners within Hertfordshire and beyond, means HfL is well placed to provide bespoke support to meet schools’ specific needs at department, individual teacher and student level.

Training and events offered include:

• Annual Secondary Leaders of Languages Conference
• languages subject specific training days, briefings and twilights
• subject specific languages training for secondary  NQTs
• assessment and moderation clusters

Revision workshops for students

HFL Education offers a comprehensive range of workshops and exam support to GCSE students in school and / or as part of our revision workshop programmes.

Workshops are available for all four skills at GCSE (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing) for French, German and Spanish.
