Hertfordshire Family Centre Service
What does Hertfordshire’s Family Centre Service offer?
Hertfordshire’s Family Centre Service brings together the family support service, health visiting and school nursing to provide a joined-up service for children, young people and their families, from pregnancy through to when a child reaches 19. Family Centres offer a range of activities and services to help children grow and develop.
You, or the families you work with, can sign up at a local family centre for a number of benefits:
- children and families can have fun, meet new people and learn together through activities
- find help and support on hand where the family centre will endeavour to meet the needs of families
- have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the family centre and help shape the services on offer in Hertfordshire
