SFVS timetable

Each school is responsible for creating their own timetable to ensure that they meet the SFVS deadline of 31st March 2025; below is a suggested timetable for completion of the SFVS return.

Autumn 2024

Review the answers of last years SFVS return and confirm that all improvement actions have been implemented

February 2025

Governors to discuss the first draft of the SFVS

March 2025
  • confirm that all relevant information has been included in the return
  • governors to review and approve the SFVS return, confirming that controls have been in place from the period of your last return to the date of your 2024-25 submission
  • print SFVS return and request the signature of the Chair of Governors

31st March 2025

   Final deadline for submitting the SFVS return to sias@hertfordshire.gov.uk

April 2025

SIAS will collate the result of the returns to inform the annual return to ESFA and the information will also be used to support the SFVS themed audits and future audit planning.

May 2025

SIAS and HCC's Section 151 Officer report on the completed SFVS forms to ESFA.
