Managing allegations against adults who work with children and young people (MA) (formerly known as RAMAAS) - £125

This will also assist you in applying initial consideration of allegations/concerns that are also set out in part four of Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSiE) guidance: the two levels of allegations/concerns – part one, allegations that may meet the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) harms threshold: - part two, low level concerns where harms threshold is not met.

Outcomes:

By the end of the course participants will be aware of:

  • safeguarding children and the law
  • the scale of the abuse and neglect by adults who are in a position of trust
  • the application of HSCP Procedures 5.1.5
  • the profile of offending behaviours in adults who are a risk to children
  • safer working practice and ongoing vigilance
