Safeguarding portal for Hertfordshire schools and academies

Keeping children and young people safe is a key priority in Hertfordshire. 

Hertfordshire County Council, in conjunction with Herts for Learning, provides a Safeguarding Portal which is designed to be a ‘one stop shop’ providing schools with the most up to date guidance, policies and resources in relation to safeguarding.  This information is intended to empower schools to develop their culture of safeguarding.

The portal contains the key documentation issued by the Council’s Safe Staffing and Child Protection teams.

This portal is available to all Hertfordshire schools irrespective of their designation.  Access to the portal is via a login to your user account on the HFL Education website.

Hertfordshire schools should login using their individual school accounts they use to access HFL's online products and services.
