Relationship and sexual health guidance for working with young people in Hertfordshire

Hertfordshire County Council has developed an interactive map of Hertfordshire sexual health services including those offered within GP and Pharmacy settings. This will help all residents and professionals to have knowledge on what is available in their area. For more information visit:

As a teacher it is important particularly in the secondary phase to signpost students to additional information, clinical support if necessary and information surrounding abortion should the need arise. It is good practice to have a board clearly visible in school or a website to provide this information for pupils. Attached is a leaflet that signposts young people to a range of services.
