Management of Offsite Visits (EVC) training
09:15 - 15:30
Management of Offsite Visits (EVC) Training is designed for headteachers, managers and other staff who are responsible for the organisation of visits for young people, particularly those acting in the capacity of EVC (Educational/Enhancement/Enrichment Visits Coordinators) for their establishments. The widespread and increasing adoption of the ‘EVOLVE’ system, for the planning and notification of all levels of visit, means a greater focus can be placed on the principles behind the administrative processes involved with the organisation of offsite visits and Learning Outside the Classroom. This training is recognised by most Local Authority and Academy employers in England and Wales and is valid for at least 3 years.

Visit Emergencies training
Visit Emergency Training was developed in the wake of the Alvechurch Coach Crash in 2012 and is intended to meet the needs of staff who may find themselves in the position of providing support to Visit Leaders in the event of an incident or emergency during an offsite visit. The course provides a framework for analysis in which people will be encouraged to look critically at their existing processes and procedures for dealing with visit emergencies.
